Students from VŠTE České Budějovice traveled to Regensburg to learn about startup activities at OTH Regensburg and in the region. During the project day they had the opportunity to address key questions:
💡 What does our region need—and what solutions can we use to actively shape its future?
💡 How can we leverage our shared strengths to best unlock the potential of the border region?
The visit offered the perfect opportunity to get to know the “other side of the border” better: there were lively discussions, new connections were made, everyone laughed together—and, above all, they walked a lot.
The program included visits to both locations of the OTH Start-up Center, exchanges with the regional startup scene—including at TechBase Regensburg and BioparkJump—as well as a visit to the MakerSpace at the OTH Start-up Lab in Prüfening. There, the students were able to explore the various workshops and machines and see firsthand how ideas are turned into initial prototypes.
Special thanks to Nina Sindersberger and her team from Regensburg! We look forward to more gatherings like this.
