The official launch of the project took place on 16 October 2025 at OTH Regensburg, with the participation of project teams, associated partners, and students.
The meeting began with an introduction of the project teams and the planned activities. This was followed by a lecture by Prof. Saßmannshausen on entrepreneurial thinking in the context of regional specifics and the ability to identify opportunities in times of constant change. Dr. Dušek from VŠTE gave a lecture focused on innovating the Business Model Canvas from a sustainability perspective.
A very inspiring part of the event was a joint discussion on entrepreneurship in the border region and the potential for cooperation between project and associated partners in supporting students in developing their business ideas.
On the Bavarian side, the project is implemented by the OTH Start-up Center team. During the meeting, we had the opportunity to see the technological facilities used for prototyping in various fields, such as 3D printing, mechanical and textile production, or electrical engineering.
We believe that this introductory meeting was the first step toward successful project implementation, and we look forward to seeing the results in the form of interesting and promising business ideas from Czech and Bavarian students.
