Information about individual editions of the competition

The STENT-In competition is organized annually, always in the spring months. The first edition of the competition will take place in March 2026.

Individual students or teams may apply if they have successfully completed the STENT-In course in the winter semester or have their own business plan prepared in the required structure.

The team of the Students Business Incubator is here to support you. Do not hesitate to contact us.

HOW IT WORKS
  • Contact the STENT-In team
  • Together, we will review your prepared business plan. The template is available for download here.
  • You will receive guidance and ongoing support through the process.
  • From the submitted business plans, the evaluation committee will nominate participants for the competition.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
  • We will guide you through the preparation and defence of your business plan presentation, the so-called “pitch deck”.
  • We will advise you on how to present your idea clearly, effectively and persuasively.

How the competition is organised

The competition will be organized as a two-day event with the participation of students and teachers from the partner institutions, representatives of associated project partners, and entrepreneurship experts.

The event will take place outside the premises of the partner institutions, but within the cross-border region. Transportation, accommodation, and meals will be provided free of charge to participants.

Students will present their business plans and respond to questions from the evaluation committee. While there can be only one winner, all participants will gain valuable experience by presenting their ideas in a simulated environment and persuading potential investors or clients that their product or service offers the best solution in the context of the cross-border region.

In addition to the competition itself, participants will have opportunities for informal discussions, experience sharing, networking, and building new professional and personal connections.

The working language of the competition is English. However, participants who are proficient in the language of the neighbouring country may also present in German or Czech.
