Phase 1: STENT-In Course
The course takes place simultaneously at both partner institutions, every winter semester.
About the course at VŠTE
The STENT-In course is offered at the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice and is intended for students interested in entrepreneurship and developing their own ideas. The course focuses on creating a business plan, as well as identifying and using resources in the Czech-Bavarian cross-border region in a real business environment.
Integration into teaching
At VŠTE, the course is part of the Business Plan – Case Study subject and is also open to students form other fields of study.
Support for entrepreneurship
Students systematically work on their own business plans and develop their business ideas.
Cross-border cooperation
The course is co-organized with the partner institution OTH Regensburg and promotes cooperation by forming international student teams.
Practical experience
The teaching emphasizes the importance of practical experience, teamwork and feedback both from teachers and experts from practice.

The STENT-In course is offered at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg and is aimed at supporting students´ entrepreneurial skills and the development of innovative business ideas in the Czech-Bavarian cross-border region. The course combines theoretical academic knowledge with practical insights into business and emphasizes identifying and using regional opportunities in an international context.
At OTH
At OTH, the course is offered as an elective course available to students from any study programmes.
Business opportunity
Students learn to identify business opportunities and develop them into a viable business idea.
International cooperation
The course is delivered in cooperation with VŠTE and gives students the opportunity to work in international Czech-Bavarian teams.
Practice and innovation
The course focuses on the practical application of knowledge, innovative approaches, and feedback from teachers as well as experts from practice.
Phase 2: Individual Incubator Programme
Phase 2 follows the STENT-In course and is intended for students aiming to systematically develop their business ideas and move them closer to real implementation. The programme provides targeted support to selected projects with the potential for application in the Czech-Bavarian cross-border region.
Participants work on further developing their business plans under the individual guidance of teachers, mentors and external industry experts. The programme focuses on key areas of entrepreneurship, particularly business strategy, financial planning, marketing, legal aspects of entrepreneurship, and the development of products or services, including prototype development. The Incubator Programme also includes online meetings of cross-border teams, consultations with associated project partners, and ongoing feedback. Phase 2 culminates in the opportunity to participate in the STENT-In Award competition, where students present their business plans to an expert jury.
